I think the tier list should have defaulted to extended barrels for guns that could use it. Also scopes are important, the fact that mp5 for rook has 2x is huge. Also, mp7 with extended is S+.

It’s a 15% damage boost, most guns that 4 shot 1 armours will most likely only take 3 shots. Plus the recoil is the same as no barrel vs extended barrel because of no recoil mitigation, I’m sure you can do the math yourself

Your point about Nøkk with the FMG is correct, I simply don’t want to use her weapons. I would like for her to get a suppressed variant AR. Much like echo has the MP5SD, I think maybe Jagers AR but with a integral suppressor would be cool and give people more of a reason to play her. That or maybe give her an SD version of the F90? I think the FMG is fine on smoke cause the shotty loadout is meta.

if you want an integrally supressed ar i'd say the honey badger would be a perfect fit (it would also make sense since her model has always had standard ar-15 type mags for some reason), if not maybe it's more rare soviet cousin, the AS Val, would also be a great fit

This extended barrel buff is really going to change the gun meta around, or so I'm hoping. It's going to be worth it for some guns, not for others. I'm excited to play around with our options and see which guns benefit most.

Skorpion is doing much better now with the compensator buffs! Mid-range you can reliably spray an area without it suddenly jumping to the side. Great up close with 40 rounds even if the fire rate means it runs out quick. If you can resist magdumping it will leave enemies full of holes.

I think you let the numbers (especially RoF) affect the ratings too much here. The T5 has recoil on par with the RONI, an above-average fire rate, and better damage than the Mx4. Easy S. In my experience, the Vector shakes a lot, even in 6-8 round bursts with the compensator on. Still an excellent gun, but it's not on par with the other S-tiers for ease of use or mag size. I'd put it in like an A+ tier. The K1A has worse damage and fire rate than the 416 and while its recoil isn't high, it's also not downright inconsiderable like the AUG, commando, C1, RONI, or VSN. C tier. The C1 packs a good ranged punch that lets Frost stand out among defenders on longer sightlines (14m+) and also has super easy recoil, so much so that you can throw on the extended barrel and the angled grip and still feel just about nothing even at spawnpeeking range. B tier at least. The RONI deserves A tier. Its low mag size is a big flaw, but it's got a very fast reload (even from empty) to dull that a bit. Unless three operators push you within a second from diferent angles, you probably won't even notice it. The FMG-9 does have good damage, an average fire rate, and a standard mag paired with a fast-ish reload. Unfortunately it also has just enough kick that the sharp, inconsistent horizonal recoil gets tough to manage on the sticks, making ranged engagements or targets in cover annoying for anyone using the FMG-9. C tier imo. Nøkk deserves better. The VSN's ttk and ease of use are both pretty solid. It does have a higher ttk than the FMG-9, but the VSN has rock solid controllability going for it, as well as the ability to run the angled grip+suppressor ehile barely suffering at longer ranges. A tier for sure.

I was also thinking this. Most of the gun placements make sense, but frosts gun and the 9x19 are so nice to use imo, I would've put the 9x19 in A tier not B, it's a solid all round gun and easy to use. Frost is great with longer range and I barely notice the lower RoF. The vector on the other hand is almost impossible for me to use, it chews through the mag so quick and you need to pull down much more than other guns. I know my gun skills are hot garbage, so having guns that kick up fast I can't use, which is why the slower RoF guns are much more successful for me.

Interesting how the Vector's 1200 rate of fire makes it powerful, despite a low magazine size, while the Skorpion also has a high fire rate with a larger mag, despite being rated so much worse. The Skorpion is kind of impossible to control, though.

I agree, I believe due to it's very easy recoil it is easier for a large number of players to get a lot of mileage out of it. I guess it also supports the "Its better to hit the enemy with a bad weapon then to miss with a good weapon" mindset

According to the gun stats the placement at c tier makes sense. And personally, I really don't get why ubi is making balancing decisions based on gun kd, like that doesn't translate to an op being powerful. Frost having higher gun kd is probably because she's picked very less (I don't have definitive proof, but this is probably it). Out of 10 rounds, if you pick Frost 1 time, got 3 kills with the C1 and died, that is 3 kd. In the same 10 rounds if you pick vigil 7 rounds, got 14 kills with k1a and died all 7 rounds, that's only 2 kd. See what I mean? and even in my example vigil cannot be balanced based on this gun kd because he is a Fragger, and he's supposed to get kills (and ubi did actually nerf the k1a previously based on gun kd)

MAR is weird category of guns for sure. K1 Daewoo is considered as SMG because ROKA (Korean Army) designated as SMG, but in reality, it uses 5.56 mm NATO rounds so most would see it as assault rifle. It still won't be an error to see as SMG though.

Yeah, I feel like low recoil guns are more important on lower Elo console. I do extremely well with my K:D for both frosts gun and the UMP because of that compared to all the others. Whilst the vector I agree is still good, sometimes that recoil burst is hard to control when doing quick bursts around the mirror

The reason the Commando 9 is considered an assault rifle is because it's an M4 with a conversion kit to make it fire 9mm. Technically it's an SBR, but it's Ubi so

I agree with all your ratings, despite my liking of some guns including mozzies commando and the scorpion I cannot deny that the seems mediocre comparatively. I still wish they'd give ela something instead of nerfing her into the ground all the time, if your gonna make her shotgun ass at least give her scorpion a little more to root for. All I ask is a little less horizontal, nothing much, just a little bit to make her somewhat more appealing cause thorn is better in almost every way. Or if your gonna make both her guns mid at least give her gadget something.

I would put the skorpion at A tier Aim center mass at the end of a hallway and let the 40 rounds and high rpm talk As long as you have trigger discipline there wont be that harsh end of burst recoil But I'm console so different recoil and all
