Rainbow Valley Farm - Sustainable People, New Zealand

This video series was created to help ordinary people find ways to become more sustainable no matter their circumstances. The idea came from the late Jane Perkins, New Zealand based artist, filmmaker and nature lover, and it was later completed by her friends Annie Collins and John McKay in memory of Jane. Beautiful video, I'm from Miami Florida but have a property in my native Puerto Rico I'm planing to move there in couple of years and starting a permaculture farm. thanks for the info

On the subject of deforestation... Sir Joseph Banks mentioning the birdlife off Dusky Sound from the Endeavour, moored a fair distance from shore with the deafening sounds of birdlife before the sun rose... sadly not anymore.

Great piece. What region of New Zealand is this property in? It has both subtropical and temperate zones in one.

*+Wayne Bird* I believe they're up on the east coast, north of Auckland, near Matakana. It's quite a warm, humid area of the country with some sub-tropical weather elements which allow for a lot semi tropical fruit production. It's a beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit.
