Really liking your vids…great informative commentary…For someone who owns a 76 and a 79 series single cab it’s super to hear your opinions Keep it up👍

Brilliant mate, thanks and it's bloody good to hear your getting something useful out of these vids 👍

I do not work on a farm i do have a (Land Cruiser work in the trade in the country) and I find it so satisfying watching these vids . Fixing shit and keeping stuff moving I love it . Ps I got some of those door seals from an automotive rubber/seal company they normally have like fan belts and grea too , You’d be able to find some that will fit your trim better at someone like that if you ever have time . Ya kinda have to go the the store and just try all the sizes and stuff , keen to see a trailer set up .

That's cool mate, and appreciate that hey. I always wonder whether people will be bored of what I'm putting out there or not. Yeah I'll be doing another short vid I reckon in regards to seals.

Great Video, excellent scenery, having fun out there. Your reviews on the tray, tyres and suspension were good. Lot of people are having problems with Alloy rims and going back to Steel rims. Cracking, coming loose, and breaking wheel studs, seem to be a common problem.

It is beautiful out here, cheers mate. Yeah I definitely did not have a good run with aftermarket alloys.

KAON in Brissie makes really good shock guards. It might be worth to check if they make guards for your ute.

Love your videos,don't think I've laughed so much for a long time. Should make it a comedy show. At least your honest about your observations on products. Keep up the great work

do you do anything for rust prevention on your vehicles or have you found it's not an issue out there?
@OutbackOffroadNT9 ай бұрын
Yeah not really an issue tbh mate, I wash my vehicle fairly often, keep it clean and service every 5000km.

Rainbow Valley looks cool - I'll check it out when I visit the area come winter. BTW that bull bar looks the biz - why are😶 you opting for another one?
@OutbackOffroadNT9 ай бұрын
Yeah mate it's a spectacular spot, I need better protection mate is the main reason, there was nothing else on the market as I was one of the first with the new shape 79 and wasn't going bush without at least some kind of bull bar.
@RoamingRooma9 ай бұрын
@@OutbackOffroadNT Reach out to offroad animal in Melbourne. They would have one soon. There bars looking good. But for your application Tuff bullbar makes more sense. Other bars won’t stop a full size bull or a horse. Just my opinion. Thanks mate
@OutbackOffroadNT9 ай бұрын
Yeah for sure, there is definitely some good solid bars around. I've been on the search and I really like ATD also. 👍

You should put some PPF on the side, easy and cheap. I did my Iveco Van and it cost me $1,800, I would think about $400 would buy enough to do the bottom half of the door and pillar each side.

F**ing love this bullshit😂. How you finding narrow rear on sand. Is it a bigger deal as other KZbinrs (advertisers) said. Love your work man. Real stuff
@nicknick70529 ай бұрын
It's annoying but not a big deal. When driving on sand, it makes you feel as Paul Hogan in Crocodile Dundee . BTW I don't understand why Toyota doesn't correct it.

Narrow rear end doesn't bother me one bit, don't even know it's there tbh...

@@OutbackOffroadNT Sweet mate. I was checking the cost with one supplier in Melbourne for my new Troopy, extension costing around 3k and full replacement 6k + Thanks for confirming real world data. Once again love your stuff

No worries at all mate. Look I can't speak for everyone but I'm fine with it. I will be getting the ROH steelies 22 offset rims for the rear, I will cover this in a video soon as to why. Not going the full 50 offset...

see a few photos and posts showing rusty ARB bars and rails on 79 groups, not sure if tjm are any better but you don't see any posts on those.
@OutbackOffroadNT9 ай бұрын
I'm definitely looking around, I've got a good relationship with my local ARB, and I go to them for a lot of gear. I like their bars and they aren't that expensive surprisingly. Cheers mate
