A bit of Fan-backstory for Indigo and Violet: I feel like Violet is/was a Princess before she was turned and Indigo is/was her personal guard that tried to protect her when a Vampir attacked her (we can clearly see how that ended) Indigo has sworn to protect Violet from any harm (that was when they first met) so in human form it looks like she is a protective older sister/friend but in reality/Vampir form she is her guard. P.S.: why not make it easier and make the colours "Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple and Pink" you could also then have a little bit more playroom with the colours

Violet makes me think of a bride who was turned on her wedding night. I love her so much! I learned the rainbow as Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple so if you feel more comfortable being indigo and violet as purple that might help. I imagine indigo being a darker purple with hints of blue and violet being a more lavenderish pink color. You could also do pink instead of violet. A rainbow isn't perfect all the time so your rainbow sims shouldn't have to be either. 😊 Just do what makes you comfortable.

IMO, while the technical array of colors in a rainbow is ROYGBIV, if you're doing a rainbow challenge, you should feel free to do it differently if that suits your needs! You can totally merge violet and indigo and have one purple category and add a pink. And if you wanted to round out a full sims household, you could also add a black-and-white or neutrals one! Overall, just don't stress too much about getting the colors perfect!!

Genuinely curious, but everyone else includes Indigo as part of the rainbow? I think of it as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Indigo seems like the mid tone between blue and purple, or even just a darker blue or purple. I feel like it would make more sense to include indigo if every other 2 colors had their own mid-tones too. Thoughts?

I've never included indigo in the rainbow my entire life. I agree I honestly feel like it is the mid tone between purple and blue and it wouldn't make sense to only have the mid tone between purple and blue and not the other colors. Lilith could be red, faith could be orange, Zoe could be yellow, Emily could be green, Emma could be blue, Roxy could be indigo and Jessie could be Violet.
