I was just telling my husband how much I'd love to go see them live in concert. He doesn't like this kind of music and he has crowd anxiety so getting him to go to any concert would be impossible.....I honestly don't know how we ever got together.🤣 We actually have very little in common other than our love for outdoors. BUT. Opposites attract and all that, I guess. Lol But seriously, my two brothers and I LOVE RKS. So if I am ever lucky enough to get the opportunity to go to one of their shows, I will be leaving the kids with the hubby and taking my brothers!!🤩❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

@@TheChance1991 The makeup wasn't, isn't, and won't be for everyone. The music wasn't, isn't, and won't be for everyone. KISS wasn't, isn't, and won't be for everyone. But, in spite of all that, they changed the stage show as an art form, revolutionized marketing and merchandising, overcame band members' addictions, illness, and even death, broke attendance records across the globe, have the most Gold certified albums of any American band (26), and have been touring almost nonstop for 47 years. That's why they're icons and titans of the industry. Rainbow Kitten Surprise is nowhere near capturing anything remotely as special or captivating as that. The highest compliment I can pay them is that they're generic. I don't see a spark in them that indicates anything special about them musically, vocally, or theatrically. They're creatively bankrupt and few will remember them after the sun has set on their career, nor will they captivate the imagination and inspire future generations.

Not only that, but the modern rock music scene isn’t even remotely close to what it was like when KISS was thriving. Imagine if KISS started their career tomorrow with the same look and songs? Meh...kind of like they're just weird for the sake of being weird, and definitely overhyped. Music wasn't that good, guitar solo was lame. With so many great bands out there like Young the Giant, Shakey Graves, Bombay Bicycle Club, Matt Maeson, Everything Everything, Conor and Ryan Adams still around...not sure what the draw is to these guys.

They have a very unique sound. This song is the worst example, it's a great song but very in line with Shakey Graves or someone like the Blue Stones. The appeal of their music is similar in many ways to Alt-J's early success in America. It's something so far from the mainstream in terms of sound yet it manages to incorporate sounds from other genres which you wouldn't normally get together. Just because you don't "get" their music doesn't mean it isn't stellar.
