I just watched another short drama with this CP. Happy to see this listed. Even though this is another Penny story, it is quite comical and it is a good watch. ❤❤ There is a Cinderella twist … glass slipper no less.😂 The dialogues are funny. Guaranteed lots of laughter. LOL.. I never thought I will actually like another Penny story. The script writers and the CP are absolutely brilliant this time round. This is an absolute gem of a short drama ; comedy, drama , romance even childhood friendships are neatly woven in. The ML is not classically handsome but has rugged charisma and a very good actor. He also has great chemistry with this FL. This is the 3rd drama I have seen them together. This is absolutely the best. Anyone deciding whether to go ahead with this drama: highly recommend. I don’t normally write reviews in KZbin. Please upload more drama of this CP!

They are well matched together. No matter how moody he is as a character, this CP works, she always gets on his tender and protective side. And it is exactly what he, as an actor, needs. He can play thugs and gangsters easily, probably a lot of fun for him. But these ambivalent characters with a soft spot are soo much better. As an audience for C-drama we needs this kind of male character! Desperately! The abusive A’hole that destroys his woman is so last millennium and not worthy of these fine actresses at all. Probably classic works but soo women & men unfriendly. Why would a man still want to be look down on as a nonsensical beast or a monster, when he’s a human too.

Chemistry is chemistrying. Again ML is such a great actor. Love all the characters he portrayed. FL did well too. Glad that they used his real voice in every of his drama I watched. Love this couple! I've seen a lot of cdramas about a married couple not knowing the identities of the person they are married to, but this by far is the best one. The plot is funny and sweet. It made me laugh and cry. Both the ML and FL have excellent acting skills and their chemistry is 🔥. I love it.

@@AkkXAye5519 This is the storyline where the married couple don’t recognize each other but fall in love. But, oddly, that’s really not the focus of the drama. It focuses more on their long term mutual, but unspoken, crush on each other. So it’s more about the development of their relationship and you don’t get a lot of angst waiting for them to find each other because neither talks about already being married because the marriage took place in Vegas 😂😂. It’s well written without unnecessary dialogue and it has some comedic elements.

Male lead is very attractive in an unusual way, but he grows on you. His voice is dreamy! FL is adorable and plays her silly, childlike character well. Overall the script and story are hilarious. The ML in this role is so unexpected that it makes it even funnier. I’m laughing out loud all the way through. The frog costumes are priceless!

In ML's defense there are many people who looks WORLDS different in contacts versus glasses. I've worn glasses since I was 10. Switched to contacts at 30, and it took me a really long time to adjust to how different my own face looks with and without glasses.

@skyerose7114 You are right. It's already amazing that he recognized her when she was such a robust child and is such a petite adult. I presume that it was something in her face and mannerisms. Facial expressions stay similar even if weight fluctuates a whole lot.

I think he recognized the name and how she behaved was still the same. Example, when she found that thick lady to pretend to be the one night stand, cause the ml had said he hated thick girls when they were young. And sone other memories she used to try and confuse him. Plus at least he wasn't easily fulled, some ml would believe any girl that comes without trying to confirm anything. About the glasses, there was a scene when he looked at her weirdly for some time while they were in his car and she had somehow removed them. I think he found the face familiar but didn't dare assume its the girl from one night stand since she wasn't telling him plus helping him to find the girl. Long story short, lets give these guys some credit for trying to film a drama based on those long chinese novels. They couldn't possibly convey all the stories to make it make semse in just 2 hours
