Its a real synchronicity since I recently got sucked back into pacifism and put on some of your old videos in the background for old times sake. awesom to see your collection and cool to know you enjoyed hollow knight and celeste as those were a few of my favorites games from lately, its crazy how lately counts as like 5 years these days.. thanks for sharing and best wishes!

@@poodleattack8379 lovely to hear from you tim! And always exciting to hear you’re back in that pacifism mood. Haha I know what you mean by ‘lately’, I take so much time over games these days. I started a play through of RE4 in September and I’m only just out of the village! Did you go for 112% in hollow knight? I think I was around 107 when I took a break and ended up moving on. Wonderful game though, as with Celeste, both with such great design and atmosphere. I’m writing this while on the train to Akihabara, we’ll see if I can rustle up anything interesting! @@RaincloudGaming Cool to hear glad you've kept the passion for gaming even though life will push you in other directions, I hope your visit to Akihabara was awesome, i imagine it being the perfect heaven of gaming and anime culture. as far as completing hollow knight i only got to the true ending and tried to play through but never completed the coliseum (not sure if that's the right name) i've not been a completionist type gamer in a very long time as theres just so much other games and stuff i want start. Re4 also one of my fave games ever. thanks for being awesome!

well well well, what a coincidence, i was just watching your Panzar Dragoon videos for the Saturn and decided to check you out. I'm glad to see you're still uploading. Just out of curiosity, what do you think of the Panzar Dragoon Remake? I'm really enjoying my with it but i would really like to see the point of view from someone who has played the original.

@@shercat1550 well indeed, thanks for stopping by and good question! I was really pleased to belatedly learn about the remake, and as I came to it late I understand the control issues had been fixed (I heard they were laggy on release). So I can’t fault it in terms of gameplay, and on first play through I thought the visuals were gorgeous to - but, and this is surely nostalgia talking but for what it’s worth, I actually prefer the desolation of the original. The remake looks too glossy to me. My biggest problem though - which is also minor in the grand scheme of things - is the lack of polish in the overall presentation. For example, the transition between episodes is very ‘blocky’ - the music cuts out abruptly, rather than fading out, which disrupts the sense of continuity between episodes. I was also disappointed by the achievements, which I wouldn’t normally care about, but in this case gave me a reason to re-engage with the game. Most were very easy, and then the last one is ‘play for 100 hours’ - which is absurd for a short arcade-style game. It would just been cool to have some more difficult or specific challenges, like the ‘no lock-on’ one, which made for a fun third playthrough. If you ever get the chance, PD Orta had an absolute ton of extras (although I appreciate this was a full game rather than a remake). That’s a lot of complaining about minor issues. I would LOVE a remake of Zwei by the same team, but it would be great if they could spend a little more time on seemingly minor issues like these. And I’m really glad you liked it!
