Why the 24Hr converted to 24 by multiplying it with 1.14? As I know the risk factor can be addressed in different scenario either regional climate change or in CN.

Hi Sir! So, as we getting to explain this factor we must firstly be informed that the data recording for rainfall stations with no short duration records usually taking the records at the end of each day (from 00:00 to 24:00), meanwhile, the storm event may occur overlapping two days (18:00 to 18:00 at the following day or so on). Hence, this factor (1.14) is a compensatory factor to deal with this probability.
