I was thinking that the entire time. Follow that tongue and stay in the boat. I run a cat and I'd ship em in-between the tubes and grab my frame. Then my oars are hopefully right there and I can power out in an ideal world.

@@shawnzumbrum101 rouge/rogue. Two different rivers. Rouge is in Michigan. And the “wild and scenic” section goes from the mouth of the Applegate to Lobster Creek. The “wild” goes from Graves to Blossom Bar.
