Thank you!!! I’m wearing the Kaja bento in Velvet dream. It’s been such a favorite since I received it because they’re all matte and turn out really warm and rosy on the eyes!

Idk if it's the colors in this line or what but it has looked absolutely amazing on everyone I've seen review it or wear it on insta. It just looks so sunkissed and juicy and lovely. Not looking to pick anything up right now though. I've got some products I need to work through first. I def want to try the brow gel when I run out of my current one. I actually appreciate the size of the blushes bc I'm just never going to be able to get through a big pan of cream blush in 6 months, especially since I like to own a lot of different colors. But while I'm all for smaller makeup products (especially creams) the price should 100% reflect the size

Yes! Agreed! With everything lol. I also love smaller makeup in general because it’s easier to travel with and store as well! But they killed it with the shades for their products because you’re so right, they look stunning on everyone!

We’ve got Refy in the U.K. for a while now. I’ve been using the Brow Sculpt and the Brow Pencil since January. The Brow Sculpt is THE ONLY THING that holds my brow hairs up and make them look extra fluffy 😀 I want to pick up that highlighter next. Looks so pretty on you!

Re: the highlight 1) would you recommend it for travel? 2) when you say “universal”, do you mean that it would fit on various skin tones? 3) Or that it would go with various make up looks/blush hues? As always, love you & thank you Ps: if you had a dollars for every comparison to Hayley Kiyoko 🤑🤑
@RainierCramer3 жыл бұрын
Ooo yes! It would look so pretty on the collarbones and shoulders too for when you’re in a tank top!! By universal I mean it’ll look good on all skin tones 💗 but also it would go well with a lot of makeup looks! LOLOL I’m glad you’ve noticed that because that is like my number one comment 😂

Damn, I was interested in the pomade but that does look like it has a bit of a learning curve

Yeah, tbh learning how to use it was kind of frustrating because sometimes I had to completely start over with my brows. But after I figured it out I do really love it 😵💫

Yeah I can totally see how it would be inconvenient to use. Kind of like with that benefit pomade, the one with the funky shaped component… hated the packaging of that.

The brow color medium is totally the wrong color for you, you should use cool tones for your complexion, not warm tones. Another tip would be, the brow sculpt need to be used before filling in the eyebrows, not after. XX

It’s totally because the products aren’t supposed to be used in that order or in that way. I feel like maybe this system isn’t meant for people who don’t understand the method to the madness. This system isn’t really for people who aren’t into bold, fluffy or laminated brows. People really should watch how the creator intends for these products to be used before deciding to purchase this just to be over or underwhelmed.
@RainierCramer3 жыл бұрын
The first time I tried this I used it the way Jess Hunt suggested to use it and actually straight up followed her tutorial and I still didn’t like the way my brows turned out and still had that film in my brows. So I played around with them and ended up preferring using the sculpt after filling my brows in and finishing the brows with the sculpt. I actually really like the sculpt just not in the way it was “intended” and I think that’s totally acceptable. People use products the way they think works best for them. Beauty and makeup is so personal and that’s what’s amazing about it. And people are allowed to try new things out and are allowed to not like them when they try them out regardless of if it suits their look or not.
@smashleydevin3 жыл бұрын
@@RainierCramer Absolutely, people should use products the way they like them. Of course you can’t tweak them to fit your needs. That’s a given. We’re not talking about that, we’re talking about why you don’t like them. My comment wasn’t meant to be a criticism and I didn’t mean to offend you or make you feel defensive. It’s your review based on your opinion. I 100% stand by what I said. Of course you’re not going to like the way Jess does it if you’re not into that type of brow. You say it throughout your entire review that none of the products are even products or textures that you prefer and you’re not sure why you bought some of them. So it’s kind of hard as a viewer to get an honest idea of what the product is like based on your review. My comment saying people should watch Jess’s video to see how the product is meant to be used wasn’t directed at you either. It’s for the people watching your review who may benefit from watching Jess’s. That’s why I’d didn’t say “you” I said “people”. I think it would’ve been super helpful if you had tagged her video in the description box so that it was more inclusive and educational. As a viewer, that’s what would’ve been super helpful to me.

I find this comment a bit nitpicky tbh. She said she tried it the way you’re “supposed to” and didn’t like it - and made it clear she had been testing out different methods for a few weeks before finding out the best method. The warm undertone, pencil being too soft and pigmented, and the gel leaving film are all valid criticisms - doesn’t matter the style, products still need to be good and many people would have the same issues. She’s also going to review products based on her opinion and preferences - that’s why people follow her, no? I don’t see anymore she got offended or defended with you but I was immediately stuck by the aggressive tone of your own comments.
@smashleydevin3 жыл бұрын
@@skinsciencebymira well, that’s the problem with text, isn’t it? I wasn’t being aggressive in the slightest and that was never my intention. I meant it with all of my heart that I never meant to criticize her or cause her to be defensive. That wasn’t me assuming she was those things because I don’t personally know her, that was just me apologizing just in case she was. Sometimes people mean exactly what they say. I could say you calling my comment nitpicky is “aggressive” but I have much tougher skin than that, nor am I going to assume that’s how you meant it. You’re 100% right that she is going to give her opinion and preferences on products. All I was doing was giving mine in response. As I mentioned and agreed above, people can use one product a million different ways, so long as it suits them, and that’s obviously their right because they’re paying for it. But her review was one of the first reviews I watched about this product and it almost turned me completely away. Thankfully, I kept watching more, then watched the review from Jess Hunt and decided to purchase it. Because of that, I’ve found that wearing it the way it was intended has garnered me the most favorable outcome. My comment was for people like me, just like her review is for people who may have the same experience. Have a beautiful day and thank you for your response. It’s helped remind me that tone is super important.
@smashleydevin3 жыл бұрын
@@skinsciencebymira also, in my opinion, these products are good. And that is 100% indicative of style. If you don’t like Jess Hunt’s style, then these products probably aren’t going to work for you. You can absolutely still try them out to see if you can get them to work in a completely different capacity, and that is the beauty of reviews and tutorials. These products aren’t bad just because they don’t work for some people.
