@@elijahjames8837 You can tell when cats are just smelling and when they are actually taking in pheromones. The soft palette at the top of their mouth absorbs pheromones and they do this sort of puffed cheek and nose breathing when they are trying to saturate that area with pheromones so they can get the "scent" of a thing/person. I'm sure they can tell familial relationships from pheromones.

Our old cats didn't really like each other, so we were a little weary about how they would react to our baby girl's arrival... We were pleasantly surprised that not only did they accept her right away, they became super-protective of her. In their mind, she was a PERSON, to be loved and respected. In fact when our daughter was learning to walk, our female cat would walk along beside her, so if she would stumble, she wouldnt fall on the hard ground. Amazing!

Also interesting to note, our female cat was friendly, but had a nasty temper when one would touch her back paws or belly. You would probably be at the receiving end of a swift swat or bite if you touched her the wrong way. This rule however, didn't apply to our baby. Somehow she KNEW that you had to be gentle with the little human, and she NEVER scratched or bit her.

So he was always calm and collected around kids but protective of other cats and kids around dogs and insert himself infront of dogs as if he’s a body guard lol. My calico cat, Bungee, came into my family when I was about 3 years old. She was abused by her previous caretakers. Dogs would chase her, and she had no where to go. When we were moving into our home, she ran inside for safety and cuddled up in my cradle. She and I are probably the same age now, and she has definitely never forgotten when we first met. She loves to sleep with me. To tell me she loves me, she wakes me up at 1 AM to go to the bathroom or even throw up on my bed. Although she can be quite annoying, whether it be begging for food or purring so loud I can't sleep, I always respect her for coming into my family's life. I honestly can't imagine what it would be like without her. She cheers me up when I'm at my lowest point, and loves me unconditionally. If you don't have a cat, I would strongly urge you to adopt one. You have no idea what you're missing out on.

What's so ingratiating (and funny) to watch in some of these scenes is the balance (or the extreme conflict) between a cat's overpowering curiosity versus his strong sense of caution. You would think that the cat sees the baby as a tiny, harmless human (that's a human projection of ourselves) but, if it's the first time the cat has ever seen a baby, it may not see it as being human (or predictable) at all; possibly a dangerous creature with unforeseen powers to hurt him -- and a cat would have to learn that human babies are harmless instead of knowing this right off. Some cats are more brave and confident than others, though.

What a horrible thing to suggest about an innocent baby. This is why the belief in reincarnation is wrong. It assumes you deserve what you get. It's evil.
@strongwomanofthelord57244 жыл бұрын
@Cocky Sloppy anything that doesn't come from God is a lie and is an evil teaching. You just called an innocent baby a killer. No, this child was not reincarnated and using cats as evidence of such is evil theology and beliefs. The bible teaches that it appointed unto men once to die and then comes the judgment. That means HmGod is telling us we only get this one life. But Jesus has come to free us from our sinful nature. If you believe on Jesus and confess him with your mouth you will be saved from judgment and being damned.
@strongwomanofthelord57244 жыл бұрын
@Cocky Sloppy the bible teaches that all are sinners and the only one who came to redeem us from our sins is Jesus Christ. All humans come from the first couple, Adam and Eve. Because of Adam all people are born under a curse. We also are separated from God. Jesus is the bridge or connection because when he was born he did not belong to Adam. He came from above. He said, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world." John 8:23. Jesus did not inherit our sin nature since his mother was a virgin and his Father is God. So Jesus is the only one who God will accept to make atonement on your behalf. He, Jesus is the perfect sacrifice. He is the lamb of God. There are not many ways to God. There is only one way. That way Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. No man comes unto the Father except by Him. He proved this claim by rising from the dead. And he promised to return. When he returns he will judge the world for all who reject him will not be saved. Please believe on Him! Jesus has appeared to me and he has also healed me miraculously. He is just like the bible says he is. God loves you and has made a way for you to be saved but you must believe in God's way and not your own way. Jesus said salvation comes through the Jews. The Jews had the right information because it came from God. All other nations did not have the truth. The Messiah came through the Jews. FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES UPON HIM, SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. The baby is a baby. The baby has a soul and did not have a prior life. It is condemning and ugly to assume people suffer because they did something wrong in their prior life. Jesus never taught this. The bible doesn't teach this. That is why you need Jesus. Believe and you will escape the judgment that is coming.
@strongwomanofthelord57244 жыл бұрын
@Cocky Sloppy no that is not written in the bible. The bible condemns that thinking. There is only one truth. Proverbs 14:12, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." God warns us to teach our children the truth in Deuteronomy 7, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." The truth will protect you. It will also set you free from the lies. Please do not dismiss what I am saying. If you want peace with God, Jesus is the only way to have peace with God. He is your peace offering.
@strongwomanofthelord57244 жыл бұрын
@Cocky Sloppy you do not have the truth. God told me to reply to this persons comment and I did not want to but I obeyed God anyway. Now I know that God is reaching out to you. He does not want you to perish. He is pointing you to his Son Jesus. The bible is clear that there is a afterlife. That scripture you are referring to about life being the blood is referring to justice. It's a huge stretch to say that means no afterlife. That interpretation does not jibe with the rest of scripture. We are dead in our trespasses but there is only one who can give us eternal life. Even the Pharisees in Jesus day believed in paradise because they asked Jesus about marriage and if a woman married a dead mans brother who would be her rightful husband in heaven. Jesus told them we will not be married in paradise. We will be like the Angel's who are not permitted to marry.

When I had my daughter, my midwife, who had during 37 years delivered over 8,000 babies ( she said she actually stopped counting then!!) advised me that when we took the baby home from hospital to lay her naked on a blanket so our two cats and our dog could go up to her and acclimatise themselves with her scent, without the confusing smells of clothing, and laundry products. It did help them to bond with her and accept that she was part of me. Our dog was the funniest. Cindy was a Labrador/Whippet cross, and she took my daughter to be her own. It was like having a four legged nanny. She would pick up and fetch toys, get the changing bag for me, hold the baby bottle, rock her and cuddle her. Cindy would even guard her when I left the room. She’d only ever let me and my husband pick the baby up!! When Cindy went back to live with my in-laws after they had been abroad, Cindy and Rebekah actually pined for each other, and Rebekah was inconsolable when Cindy passed away.❤️
