Returnees for next season for sure - Sonny Gray......looking like a 1 again. Erick Fedde......looking like a No. 3 / 4. Andre Pallante......looking like a 5 (if that!). Mikolas......looking like he needs to be Dropped / Traded / Demoted to Long Relief. Matz?........I think he'd be easier to trade than Mikolas.......needs to pitch well the end of this season to allow for that. What seems like a realistic rotation for '25: 1. So. Gray 2. Severino 3. E. Fedde 4. Pallante (arguably over-slotted) 5. McGreevy -----> likely over time would give way to Q. Matthews.....I think EITHER will over time be notable as being better than Pallante......Pallante drops to considered No. 5 SP.
