KZbin’s format includes community engagement but it’s centered around producing / sharing content. When I did a 30 day social media detox I didn’t give up KZbin because I view it more like Netflix, Hulu and all those other streaming services. I personally wouldn’t give up KZbin for 30 days I would miss so much content .... like yours 😊

I agree that youtube is a social media. On tiktok you watch 10-30 second content, youtube you watch 15-30 min content. I constantly watch youtube like some people watch netflix. I constantly check the explore page and my subscription page. And I think the reason for social/screen detox is to not always be consumed with something and to allow quiet time, time to reflect, think, write, be in nature, explore new hobbies, craft and art. It's good to take breaks from screens youtube included!

I don't consider YT as social media. I think you guys can continue to watch YT. I look at YT more like a media platform, like Netflix. Also, I didn't notice the change of the rain sound. It sounded more like rain than the actual rain. LOL I haven't read the God Delusion. But I agree with the title already. I have been an atheist for about 3 years now. I was agnostic for about 5. Once you go down this path, you will view life from a completely different lens. So exhilarating. I have 0 regrets. I hope you find what you are seeking.

Love the sound change quiz. KZbin is not social media to me, unless you ask the audience to respond or interact someway. Many people don't use cable anymore and use KZbin to get news etc. So I hope they keep using KZbin.

I recommend Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. It's a long book. The audio version is like 56 hours, but it is completely engrossing and educating the entire time.

I vote no KZbin at all because you are KZbinrs. Take a break, YT content will still be there when you get back. I know that dryers are few and far between in homes in South Korea so here's a laundry tip for Jae: Shake the wet clothes out before you put them in the dryer, you'll get fewer wrinkles and the clothes will be less wrinkled, too.

The simple answer to whether KZbin is considered a social media platform is that yes, it is. It is a media that the general public goes to for information and entertainment. And most importantly, the public can make comments to shape and change others thoughts and ideas. As such, those comments are “social” interactions with others with the thought to change and influence behavior of those around you.

Kimchi looks good. Never had Korean food and would love to try Korean fried chicken. As far as KZbin. Been a regular for about 2nd year now, but I did get hooked on walking tour videos; bloggers walking in cities such as New York. Had to back off of that since I was spending too much time watching those instead of doing what I really needed to be doing :))
