Dear Mother I hope things are going well back home. Word reached me from rumors in the market that a terrible storm blew through around home recently. I hope everyone is alright. News doesn't often reach here from that way, so I hope there isn't anything pressing that might require help. Not that I won't help, of course, but if it is something that truly needs an Elemental Mage's aid then things are most dire indeed. Things here have been going well. I've just returned from a short journey to the eastern plains to gather some vital herbs and work on my casting and spirit work. Plenty of room to practice out there. It's raining over the Citadel as I write this. It almost reminds me of home when the rains come in autumn. Give my best to Da and Henry, and a pat for Lily, too. I hope to see you all soon. Myyyyyy, this is glorious! Might be my fav so far. There's just something so magical about that picture. It makes you relate to it, feel like you're in it, because who hasn't seen rainy days?
