There's something healing about going barefoot on places others have not walked on. It feels clean and welcoming. I believe we were meant to walk barefoot and it also feels good. Thanks for the inspiring videos. Be well and have fun nature man. 😊

Hello there, I love your videos. The forest floor must be cushioned in moss nice and soft. I think of the shelters you made in that forest and how you made fantastic little homes for the animals too. Just lovely 💜

Try carving your meat skewer to a three sided point. I find it grabs the meat better when you wish to rotate it on the fire. Very peaceful part of the woods for your soul to relax in. Sometimes the basics are all you need, or want. 🇨🇦

Definitely the hardest core bushcraft on KZbin. From the comments I found his name is Lukas. Only he and I know how many cold, wet, nights he has spent in the field before you can get a really good bushcraft shelter up. A good bushcraft shelter, absolutely watertight, really requires a modern membrane: a tarp, plastic sheet, or waxed canvas cover. I built one in Pleasantville New York, on a steep hillside wooded property belonging to Pace University. Jobs were available, and I worked at Foley's Club Lounge making awesome tips... There was no rent. I would still be living there today if I had not bragged about my bushcraft and actual cashflow... There was no rent, in a place where a single bedroom apartment was $1200 a month. My hillside bushcraft shelter was about an 11 minute walk from the center of town. Eventually the head of the Pace University security tracked me down and found the shelter... I was evicted, but not charged with trespassing. I met the Dean of the University as well, he hiked out to my shelter to both check it out, and meet the person who had pulled it off.

And as for his adventure in the old camp: he has such cracks in the walls and in the flooring there that I would crawl through there entirely. And I'm not small. At least once he took off a normal hike: with an awning, with a caremat, with a normal sleeping bag! It's cold for me to look at him every time!

The rain sounds are unnatural, granular, but beautiful. I take it you put a cover over the camera and we are hearing the raindrops impacting hard cover material. Try different microphone covers and I bet will find a softer, more natural, sound.

Ironic to eat a banana in the wild north, isn't it? Authenticity is the best virtue to have during these types of adventures/videos. My suggestion would be to keep it 100% nordic, and eat some specific nordic snack old timers would eat when they would go foraging for mushrooms or hunting.
