Oh dear, thank you for the history lesson, Thomas. Very Interesting person, Julius Cesar was. I personally believe this type of story deserves a channel if its own; honestly, I couldn’t fall asleep waiting for the next bit in the story, and that is how I was fully awake at the end of it. First night listening to this story and I was out in under 5 minutes. I adore Thomas’s narration. Thank you for this channel, I listen nearly every night. I also listen on the plane, I am someone who can never fall asleep on the plane, but recently I managed to doze in and out of a very light sleep on my last trip from Houston to Seattle slumped down with my knees leaning left while sitting on the aisle seat next to a large man who took up a quarter of my shoulder and leg space on a 4 hour flight. Thank you for the escape and restful moments I was able to get on an uncomfortable flight. It was truly a godsend and kept me in a more positive mindset. With gratitude and blessings, ❤️❤️❤️

You are the only narrator that I fall asleep to; I think it is the cadence of speech and what seems to be an natural soft-spoken voice. Oh this is a great idea. I like sleeping to science and history documentaries. I don't learn anything - actually worse that - I don't know whether historical events happened or if I just dreamt them, it implants false memories. So asking me anything about history is worse than asking somebody who knows literally nothing. But anyway, it's great not to be woken up by battle cries and swords clinking, or Dolby surround bass explosions. I like rain too - but it's gotta be the natural stuff. It has to be a recording of an actual rainy day, it adds to the suspension of disbelief. Not so much for crackling fires though. That just makes me think my house is burning down.
