I really loved this one, it did take me a couple of listens to hear the whole story because I kept falling asleep, but I enjoyed it a lot . My father in-law is a film noir buff and historian, he grew up in the late 40’s and early 50’s, just outside of Hollywood. His mother worked as a maid for Olivia DeHaviland and few other actors and his father was a stage builder. So he got to see some of the behind the scenes action as a kid. This reminds me of how much I love hearing him talk about the films, their histories and how things were in those days of old Hollywood. Thanks & Good Night.

Other authors have made careers out of trying to channel Raymond Chandler. None did it better than you. I loved how the image of cigarette smoke was woven throughout the story and how you manage to use one small phrase to flesh out minor characters. Will you ever try to publish your stories?
