Rebuilding Sani Pass......kinda defeating the object. Freaking yourself out before you start, is even worse. Glad you made 🎉🎉🎉

Your trip up Sani Pass is the third I watched now. Before you, I watched Noraly and Kinga battle their way up there. It seems Sani Pass is really inventive at throwing problems at anyone who rides up, every time the conditions seem to be totally new. …and good the folks at the South African border checkpoint didn't know you would do all the road works under way. Otherwise they'd probably have put two bags of cement on Honey, with the comment: "While you're at it… 😊" You did one hell of a job! 💪🙏🤗
@ForTheLoveOfWheels2 жыл бұрын
Yes, true. As on any dirt road, the weather has a huge impact on the road, and South Africa had more rain in a month, than they will normally have in 6 months. Also because of the construction at the bottom, the top is currently not maintained. but respect to anyone who does it in any weather. It's not easy.

Rewatching this difficult ascent. Love the end. "I made it". "I Made". I MADE IT!! " As enthusiastic as I've heard you - so uplifting. A goal of mine is one day I will be there also albeit likely paved. Thank you for sharing.

You did awsome girl! I tried to imagine me on my Yamaha Tracer 900 going up that pass. Conclusion; no way I could do that... You have great riding skills and a very roadsmart brain, and that's what it takes to do a challenge like that. Huge thanks for this video Henriette!!!

It must be the highlight of your South African tour! Well done girl. It is much better to travel with a smaller bike. Kinga did it with her big BMW and she had a hard time. It is such a pity that the pass will be tarred within a few years, and all of it for the Lesotho 4x4 taxis that are using the pass daily to transport shoppers to the towns in South Africa .

Definable a highlight and a scary one. I also struggled - even on my 250! 🙈

Henrietta (and your trusty steed - Honda). Oh my! That was an accomplishment and a half. Look what you two have done and that must tell you that you are a fine combination. At the start I thought your tires might let you down for all the wet and loose rocks that faced you going up the pass. But no your skill AND you coaching yourself gave you enough confidence (even after your fall) to just be tough and get to the top. I sat at the edge of my chair and I believed I was with you. Not that I would know but I thought you chose great lines!! Congratulations to both you and your friends. Amazing vlog. Thank you for bringing us with you. Best regards, David
