Let me try my best to tell my own Tyson story. I never liked Tyson, always rooted against him. I lived in Vegas for 26 years. Every Friday night I used to go to the old stardust hotel to get my parlay cards in. I bet $100 on Holyfield to beat Tyson their 1st fight. I was so excited because I really felt like Hollyfield would break him mentally. I was getting a lot of flack for saying these things out loud. I really couldn’t stand Tyson, always felt he was highly untested & overrated. Fast forward. I was working valet at Mandalay Bay Hotel and we were unbelievably busy. I had at least five keys on me & running as fast as I could to each car. I run to one and am stopped right at the door of the car. It was Mike Tyson & it was his car! He was very aggravated & at that time when he was heavily medicated. He had a hoodie on & couldn’t stay still. He looked like a pit bull ready for blood! I was so scared as though he knew I had been talking shit about him. Omg I took back everything I ever said about him! Not funny like Ed’s story but it’s my real life Mike Tyson story. I’ll add to it as a retired athlete… went to a Hollywood party late 90’s early 2000’s… talking to a female and across the room I see a little slight scuffle and a couple voices raised and it’s Mike with two buddies I came with… Mike asked if my boys knew where he can get an 8 ball… buddy pulled his out of his pocket amd before it was at even eye level, Mike snatched it add told my buddies, “whatch u gonna do about me taking it”! They walked away immediately! 🤣🤣
