Ingredients :
Rice (Basmati) soaked in water for 20 mins-1/2 kg
Bay leaf-2
Star anise-1
Cloves-5
Stone flower-1 tsp
Cinnamon-2 pcs
Cardamom-3 pcs
Kopak vuds-2
Javitri-1
Shahi jeera-1/2 tsp
Black pepper seeds-1/4 tsp
Onion-2
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbs
Green chilli-6
Coriander leaves-2 tbs
Mint leaves-2 tbs
Tomato-1
Water-1 1/2 tumbler
Ghee-1 tbs
Cooking oil-2 tbs
Salt for taste

It’s also called Khushka, even prepared in Karnataka also , only difference is basumathi rice and addition spice that’s all , nothing special.

Hello Madam, This is not Andhra Dish.....This is pure Telangana Item, served in all Marriages and parties....Andhrites are not aware of this....they cook something called Palav which is different from Karnataka Pulav and Veg Biryani, But even that tastes good...But for now recognise this as a Telangana Essential Item in Several Occasions...
