90% of players 95% even are calling that spot. Getting a read is good, but acting on it and sticking to your game, that needs discipline. No joke that was one of the sickest plays I've seen in a while. Got to give credit where credit is due

Yea I don't think I can fold here ever. I just put villain on aq or kq I'd be worried about q10 suited and 88 but I'd still make the crying call. Props to Ben that's why he's the goat

Ben, I have followed you for years and have learned heaps from you. I never have any questions for you because I am not that bright, instead I listen and watch intently and often rewind to spots you deep dive so I may not know the entire theory for a play but I do incorporate your teachings, monkey style if you would so now when I do my money, I know WHY I knocked it off, that shows ima learning. This is about as much input as I am capable of giving....Thanks for your community spirited sharing of your expertise, olde blokes like me who are retired benefit BIGLY from your Pro Bono, Professional advice . Have a Cool Yule and GG for the New Year, the Tea-leaves tell me you will have your best ever year.🌲🍧🍷☃☃🎄🎄

Icm ft could fold 33 pre I guess. low pocket pairs is not amazing vs 2 tight ranges . Vs 1 could call probably.
@RaiseYourEdge
@RaiseYourEdge 5 сағат бұрын
fair point but card removals are huge here, especially against tight opening and flatting ranges, low pocket pairs perform incredibly well since likely 4 highcards are taken out of the deck, increasing our chances to hit a set. Both wont have any 3x hands in their range (apart from the openraiser having A3s).

the 33 hand was sick 💥 10,4vs10,7 hand was intersting, plausinatis station on one hand, ben adjust, apprently plausinatis aware of his image, just to end up in that situation that ben value ben thinly and plausinatis fold a little bit better

Could you elaborate why would you check back bottom set in position multiway? When the board is draw heavy
@TwistedMetal32
@TwistedMetal32 15 сағат бұрын
That deep in a multi way pot is very difficult to stack a worse hand by the river. And as you can see he doesn’t get stacked in a cooler situation.
@LeleikaLaurynas
@LeleikaLaurynas 10 сағат бұрын
Yes, on avoiding coolers i agree. But when the board is that draw heavy, dont you bet your bottom set for value unblocking all draws and top/middle pairs with backdoor equity? Otherwise, why do you call 33s mutliway in position if you are afraid to bet on draw heavy board? I understand Ben is way better than me, and has his reasons for such a play. But not betting your bottom set unblocking all the potential value hands of your opponents is huge L in my opinion. If you are afraid to get coolered set over set, well sometimes poker is brutal. River raise on paired board allows you to dodge that
@TwistedMetal32
@TwistedMetal32 7 сағат бұрын
@@LeleikaLaurynas it isn’t about being afraid. It’s knowing I won’t get 3 streets in a multi way pot that deep with bottom set.

QTss vs half pot looked like a clear check raise for me. Dunno why you played so passive OTF then started to bluff the turn + river did not complete any draws and gave Ax a top 2pair. I think that was the only hand that might have been a mistake. I would not say it was fine. You dont wanna be the one calling and Id imagine with ICM its even worse. Lets say you have J8s J6s 88 66 even if you x/c flop instead of x/r that I doubt it . Then you check range OTT and then jam versus 2nd barrel. At least thats how I see it. 33 fold OTR was very very good. Good job. Could argue its a fold pre vs open + call to not get set over set post flop and start calling 55/66+ so you can have an overpair or a set higher than theirs I suppose.

15:23 this was pretty bad bluff. I think you played so well from the start of the FT. This was a bit ambitious and really bad hand to bluff with.also the sizing is not good, you either go small or you go big. There is no 60% psb.
@benjaminrolle7004

I play the opponent, you play the solver. I bluff hands that the solver doesn't want to bluff if I can narrow my opponents hand down to specific hands. I will also NOT bluff hands that the solver wants to bluff if I believe my opponent won't fold. Sorry to be harsh, but that's why guys like you most likely don't and never won't play 10ks. I shared my exact reasoning why I chose to bluff this hand and a lot of my plays are based on exploits and that means to debate from theory. I appreciate your input but following Theory on a Final Table won't bring you far. A solver would also never chose to bet/fold 33

@@benjaminrolle7004 dude, your size was dogshit, why cant you just accept it? noone needs a solver to figure that out, just common sense, why would you ever come saying that you do ALL THAT SHIT that every decent player does? you are not special, you are a good player but your mindset of trying to look perfect in order to sell your 1k course to noobs is blinding you
