Like the call on the flop. I feel like we're at the very bottom of our range with the Q10 of diamonds. With our stack size I like calling and playing the turn

These hand analysis just blow my mind. I'm grinding the micros and, although you can't run advanced bluffs, there as certain spots where you can shove in their face and expect a dramatic amount of folds. Thank you very much for the free content.

Hi Ben! The hand at 18:47 really got me thinking. I have always found 15-20bb stack the most painful to Openraise, since you can profitably openraise/broke with only selected few combos (for example 99+/AQs+/AKo from UTG) and everything else you just mostly openraise/fold. Things become easier with
@RaiseYourEdge6 жыл бұрын
thats why we openraise tight in the first place. We should i.e raise/call against blinds also AJs and 88 and vs mp only AQ 99. MP/CO/BU cant rejam insanely wide since our range is still tight and they have players left too act. So you shouldnt worry that much. I woudl defend KQs KJs AJs and ATs vs a small 3bet

I like the bet on the turn after you talked me into it. Very weird spot on turn after he shoves but I feel like Q10 isn't far ahead of his worst draws. I've been there though. Thanks for the great content!

Hey Ben, thanks for all the content you are offering, I'm watching every single one of them. This is very helpful and by far the best free content we can find. I have a question concerning the odds calculation for the bounty spot, what is the calculation that we need to do? Thanks
@RaiseYourEdge6 жыл бұрын
thanks man! We have a calculation tool in the bounty beast course, which is not for free.

On the last hand, when you bet 560 into 1970, what's the thought behind the bet sizing? Would you not bet nutted hands bigger?

Do you think villain ever flat-calls AA at some frequency (and maybe KK at a low frequency) in the ATo vs JJ bounty spot? Makes your raise/call a bit better.

Hey, concerning the last spot, even if you have 33% equity and you need 32%; isn't it a fold concidering ICM ? Don't you need at least 37% equity more or less ?

Moorman is telling us to play more hands in early stages of tournament and u are calling players who tend to do that recreational players. Can u explain ? And what is good then ? btw: why ur previous vids are deleted from channel ? I mean not all of them but a good portion of it. Thanks
@RaiseYourEdge6 жыл бұрын
Well, it depends, I am not generalizing. There are spots where playing more hands is bad and then you have spots where you should play less hands.

i was interested in the rye bounty beast course but the price freaks me out lol. Why does it cost so much?
@therealslimshady89036 жыл бұрын
yo foxjoke because in a fastly growing format like bounty tournaments having the edge that this course provides if used correctly should easily make your investment back in a short period if your putting in decent volume
@nikemolan49226 жыл бұрын
I believe the raise your edge prices are very good value, by the looks of it! I just wish I I had the money to pay for one. I'm saving up!

As a micro stakes player who bought the tournament masterclass expert edition which was about as much as I had as my bankroll online at the time (It helped that I could purchase the course with bitcoin that I had lying around). I can assure you any product of theirs is worth the price. Think about it a few ways...if the course is pricing you out, then it’s probably pricing out a lot of your competitors, so there is an asymmetry in knowledge. And not to be too results oriented but I shipped several micro stakes tourneys almost weekly since the course, and I used to never be in that situation before. I’d always be nursing a small stack until busting a few places away from the final table. Maybe run good or false confidence from the course but there were some pretty key insights that were completely off my radar that I’ve learned from their course. I understand that buying the course is a tough decision, but if you’re willing to do the ‘homework and take it seriously the thing will pay for itself in your first month. And they didn’t pay me for this free ad haha. Though I’ll take a free hand review session if they’d like!

What about call/call - decide river?

Hi Ben, great video. I don't understand your thought process at 16:50 when you say your opponents would have bet their Ax, so you are going to put pressure on their 10x and Kx. If I was your opponent in this spot and I had Kx I would think the same about you. You checked through the flop and you didn't bet either.
@RaiseYourEdge6 жыл бұрын
well at flop or turn they would bet most of their Ax. Of course there can be some Ax hands checking but we are talking about 10 or 20%. 80-90% of the time they have QQ/JJ Kx or Tx which we can apply pressure against.
