i think donk betting can sometimes lead to some very interesting and creative play if you know well your ranges

We can be unbalanced vs fishes and only,donk bet our pur bluffs and check,our strong hands. Against good /balanced players ; yes agree that donkbet is not so nice unless,in 3/4 bet pot when we have randge avantage and playing on a high level,you need constructive ranges of,donk bet also

Totally disagree ; in live games vs fishes ; donk betting a pure exploiting way is very nice. Also donking in a 3 bet pot vs a cap,strong range we can easily lead a ton of flop type 567 988;;;

You should only donk when you have a good plan what you can do on certain runouts. Just donking will usually not increase your profit.

@@fallout8657 first hand multiway is totally fine, even ABC regs will mostly stop bluffing there. if we get folds on the flop vs 4 overcards its totally fine, if we get raised we know where we are, if we get called its check decide turn

I really dont like this video I must say. This is such a generalization+ random hand review. "never donk bet" "never do this, never do that". Why not ? It is literally the exact thing the MTT course is advertising: "Not Good For Your Game: Random Hand Reviews; Generalizations" Why shouldn't play exploitative if you see a spot to do it. Why should you not use an unusual line against a weak opponent in live cash games? Why shouldnt you take every margin you can get? Obviously donking is an art of its own+ it is not as +EV most of the time. But I really dislike this advise because it is nothing but a generalization

we assume we are always playing 100x+ and vs an uncapped range, in fact in live cash game range are way more variable. in mtt if u defend the bb vs utg 40x and flop comes 456 u have a mandatory donkbet because he doesnt have 78 23 44 and 55 and u have all of them. in cashgame the ranges are way less capped, and since you are -more deep -your range is weaker since u only defended then the donk bet needs to be done way more than in mtt

wow never donk never .... do what others ... how about if u got 3 to straight flush and overs on low flop this is just one of few times im happy to donk and I want to say few as this bet I use not too often but to say never well i disagree.... ohhh weak video this... donk bet super cool move if you happy to call 3 streets anyway and take opponent from central thinking by doing something he is not expecting you to do

You can establish a donking range on a board that favour us or on turn/river cards that favour us. But you need a balanced donking range and you should know how this range and sizing should look like. Most people pick hands randomly or donk weakish hands only and thats not profitable.
