Raising a sunken Hunter sailboat ⛵️ and getting the Yanmar 2GM diesel engine running again!

So we went down three more times and I finally got the engine running. I left james on the boat and he is going to sell it around Key West and Parkette on the other side of the bridge. Somehow during the storm, this whole thing got started by the boat going underneath the bridge that is not tall enough to get under and getting stuck on the Bayside. 
I bought the most expensive starter, had better reviews!

What starter did you replace with? Will a generic work?

I replaced it with a high torque starter, and uses less electricity, and it turns faster. But the original will work fine a link to it is in the description.
