Same thing happened to me with the blonde-to-brown hair transformation. I used to have my hair get very light (basically blonde) during the summer, and it got slightly darker in the winter. Once I got to about teen years, after a winter it just didn't get light again and I suddenly just had dark brown hair.

Greg is adorable! And I relate a bit with him not smiling in photos, although I do have ones where I smile. When I didn't, it was because I was very shy, or because I was upset about something. For some reason, my family thought I looked cute when I was sulking.

tim I love your channel so much, everytime you upload I get a smile on my face, even if it is about something I don't know nothing about lol can you make a video about the aesthectic of UI's and what are the importance of it to making a game timeless? I feel like menus nowadays are so boring, even in one of my favorite games like elden ring, the first screen is just black and boring =/ I think that ps2 era games were so much better in that way, I remember fondly the guitar hero games being so full of style.

I am not an artist, so the visual aspect of a UI are typically handled by someone else on my team. I do talk about the importance of UX supporting the game's vision in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/raCyqX6Drb6ir6s

I was thinking about learning coding just to make a gallery software for myself that could tag videos and images in my collection with a comfortable UI. Imagine my shock when Tim Cane said (in an earlier video) that he just made duplicate files for different folder every time he needed. Reconsidering my choices.

It’s one thing where you’ve got say 300dpi scans of old film photographs, another entirely with 16, 24, 30+ megapixel digital camera or smartphone photos!

@@ashuggtube Its more that it would trigger my OCD deep inside my head, even for simply having multiple copies of those files. There are some ready solutions for free on github, but you still need to tinker with them for your preferences. The other problem is that you have to rely on filenames to find those files fast (if you want, like I do), even if its only one. I found it funny that somehow related topic appeared in one of the videos and the programmer with decades of experience "just" made copies, probably to now waste time on bs.

ok, just to preface this comment, I wrote the below comment before I watched further into the video you said you had blond hair until you were 13 at 6:13 your hair looks brown (especially when contrasted with the white hair of your grandmother) and you don't look 13 in the photo ...as I continue to watch, at 7:11, your hair is clearly blond, kind of amazing how one black and white photo your hair can look like it's legitimately brown hair, but your first grade school photo it's clearly blond well if I was shown just the photo at 6:13, and someone said see, Tim had dark brown hair as a kid, he always had dark brown hair, I would've believed them
