I still run this tag, 12stars X2 zenkai. Two cards and an ult will wipe out the Goku side if your opponent is running Ultra UI but a special move from Ultra Gohan will probably wipe out the Frieza side. If your opponent is running both Ultras then your in for one fun match.

I think the boost system has a lot to do with the meta. Unless a unit is absolutely cracked like the beasts were. As soon as they fall out of the boost system they slowly start to fall off

the issue with these complete units are that they defense/offensive is complete they will dwindle with time until now where units like Uui can snipe them or the Ultra gohan can prob 2 or 3 card the frieza side or do alot damage to the purple side. the only they would need for a zenkai is more damage.

Hey, could you revisit LF Super Vegeta and LF Zenkai Bardock again? They've both just gotten a fix related to the "gain x buff every y timer counts" not activating correctly/consistently. You can read about it in the news. I'm interested to see how much better this fix makes them both. Super Vegeta especially, since apparently it helps his Ki issues a lot.

Yes the Zenkai buff applies to the whole unit for Goku/Frieza. Pan doesn't receive any Zenkai buffs because she doesn't meet the Zenkai requirements (being purple and Lineage of Evil). She does get the Z-abilities from everyone though.
