The shadows and improved details are good. Although versions with physical extras are something I kind of don't want nowadays. Room is already too full.

Love Machine Atelier games for the most part have a very solid 40-50hr experience. Not to mention post game content like extra super hard bosses and season pass content...with the recent entries. So yeah definitely pick it up, it’s a relaxing series that has a good amount of managing, gathering, battling and enjoying light hearted scenarios sprinkled in between.

@@maroXUprising that sounds lovely. Really intriguing me here. It looks like some wholesome cute fun and it wouldn't be bad to have something like that after playing so many story heavy games. I'm sure it has story too but people always tell me its much more calm and relaxing (dont know how true it is tho)

@Love Machine Exactly! I’ve tried getting my friends to understand that mentality that this series is great for when you have accomplished something like a story driven or something challenging in a game, like beating a dark souls boss, after pulling in all that rage, atelier is great series-to go through to ease that tension, alas most people just call this series too girly for their taste. Ah well, it’s a pity tho. I’m fairly new to the franchise myself. But for the most part the recent entries specifically the mysterious trilogy (atelier Sophie, atelier firis, and atelier lydie & suelle) don’t really have a main villain or antagonist to go through, even to an extent the previous trilogy entries like the Arland trilogy and dusk trilogy. The atelier (rorona, totori & lastly meruru) Arland trilogy is one of the series that implemented time restrictions, but had multiple ending routs to go through depending how well you were able to manage all ur tasks given to you. Whether it’s being a princess of a new found kingdom who uses alchemy to better the population of her people (meruru) to being a rookie upcoming alchemist (rorona). To being a adventurous alchemist in search of exploring a vast new world (totori). just a small explanation of the Arland trilogy. The battle systems for the most part doesn’t take up the entire overall gameplay, but it’s there and does its job well enough to keep you invested. The crafting system is partially my personal favorite aspect of the recent entries. You can craft super powerful items and blaze through anything that stands in ur way, but exploration is the key to gathering these materials. Once you’ve mastered and understood the mechanics of synthesis, it’ll be like second nature. Ha, sorry for long winded information. Anyways if you do pick up ryza. The only negative drawback to the series recently is expensive season passes, but most of the season passes in these games are useless anyways, some do contain side story stuff to add more value. So if you ever pick up ryza and enjoy it, and do have the itch to try out the other trilogy series, I’d recommend either the Arland trilogy if you want a little more hectic yet great experience, or the mysterious trilogy entries for a more relaxing experience that’s more slower pace.

@Love Machine no problem. There’s also a useful KZbin channel. valkyrieaurora. She’s made a video a while ago discussing the best trilogy/sub series to go experience if you are interested more. Believe it or not this series has been going on for 20 years. Always glad to help peak new people’s interesting this franchise.
