I think I tweeted something exactly like this. They were mad he was gonna win another mvp with no playoff success and opted to give it to someone who's never made it to a conference finals

And the same day that Embiid choked a closeout Game 6 at home, Jokic had a triple double on the road and advanced to the WCF 😂

I am a sixers fan so take what imma say with a grain of salt but aren’t u literally criticizing embiid for choking in the playoffs, tbf he can’t get past the second round but lol

@@nathanielthrush5581Yes, that's why that argument was never salient. If Jokic's "lack of playoff success" (he's been the best individual player over the past four postseasons) nullified his MVP case (which was most talking heads' claims), then they couldn't vote for Embiid either as he's been significantly worse than Jokić in the postseason throughout his career. But they all voted for Embiid somehow

Don't you love recency bias? Last time we saw a healthy Nuggets before 2023 they were minutes away from the WCF in '19 and made the WCF in '20. The media forgot that, though. It's cool how both Giannis and Jokic came off B2B MVPs, had their validities questioned, and won rings right after 🤣 poetic. Great video, Raize, the conclusions have been especially good.
