Raja Bakthi (transl. Loyalty to the crown) is a 1960 Tamil-language historical fiction epic film, written by V. C. Gopal Rathnam and directed by K. Vembu.[2] The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Vyjayanthimala and P. Bhanumathi, with T. S. Balaiah, Padmini, Pandari Bai, M. N. Nambiar, E. V. Saroja and Stunt Somu as the ensemble cast, and was produced by P. Rajamanickam Chettiar of Nandhi Pictures. The film's music was composed by G. Govindarajulu Naidu and was filmed by R. Sampath.[3] The film, released on 27 May 1960, was a box office failure.

Main reason for box office failure is that Sivaji-Padmini are not paired in this movie. It is a bitter taste for viewers.

Vyjayanthimala, Padmini, Pandaribai,Bhanumathi & E V Saroja have acted as heroines in several films. All of them are in this movie inspite of it the movie was box office failure.!!!!

இந்தப்படத்தின் சிறப்பம்சம் நல்ல தமிழ் வசன உச்சரிப்பை தவிர வேறொன்றுமில்லை வைஜெயந்தி மாலா நடித்த அரிய தமிழ் படங்களில் இதுவும் ஒன்று மற்றபடி ஆடல் பாடல் கதை ஒன்றும் நன்றாக இல்லை வைஜெயந்தி மாலாவைத்தவிர இந்த படத்தில் நடித்த அனைவரும் இப்போது உயிரோடு இல்லை வைஜெயந்தி மாலாவிற்காகத்தான் இந்தப்படம் முழுவதையும் பார்த்தேன்

The reason why this movie was box office failure is people didn't relish the role played by Padmini in this film as wife of TS Balaiah.
