Maddie is such a great interviewer because she really tries to understand who she's sitting with. Raja's comment of "I don't think I've ever been seen so clearly" really warms my heart, because from my perspective she's had to fight in the past to be heard in a way that alligns with her personhood, so I'm glad that's been accomplished here.

It's great when the interviewee understands and likes maddy's humour. But it's even greater when they want to actually connect with her. Raja's emotional range is fascinating: she can go from child-like vulnerability and wonder to scary and intimidating in a second. Truly amazing conversation.

In my 30s and I so relate to Raja being older but still wanting to be part of the revolution; wanting to hear out younger generations on their own terms. My big fear though is that young people (young men anyway) are turning to authoritarianism, and I just can't and won't hear that out. It's wrong, it's evil, and it breaks my heart.

Raja is such a legend. I'm in the same age bracket & I guess I'm lucky to be open minded & receptive to the younger generations. I always considered myself androgynous until I learned the new language. I appreciate the younger generations for being more accepting, open & kind hearted than previous generations.

Just since we're talking about cultural appropriation and gender. I wanna put it out there for Maddy and Raja that "Two Spirit" is an indigenous specific label. A very culturally specific term and identity. I love y'all too bad. The conversations being held in this interview were glorious, and me being South Asian, Raja has always been an inspiration for me, since I saw her on Drag Race. Being able to see a queer brown person express themself in such a beautiful and fun way, it was always very powerful and impactful. Thank you both for doing this. This interview was stun!

Raja was very influential on my persona as a queer person while I was growing up. I still remember being in the closet and watching her on drag race. She made me realize what was possible and being a Gemini myself, I’ve always really resonated with all that she has to say. It’s lovely to see her as the person she is today, I could literally listen to her talk for hours. Thank you Raja for being my idea of what’s possible when you embrace all of your energies and for being my #1 queer role model 🤍
