Rajasthan Series EP 11 | Pushkar Lake and Ajmer Sharif Dargah

Hello Viewers,
Presenting Rajasthan series episode 11. It was time for us to say good bye to Jaisalmer and head towards Pushkar and Ajmer. The road from Jaisalmer to Pushkar will take us back through Jodhpur city. The conditions of the road was awesome throughout barring few patches here and there. However, thanks to Google maps that we were diverted 50 kms from the main highway enroute. This was a harrowing stretch through village roads and with lot of animal crossings enroute. Nonetheless the journey was peaceful and we reached Pushkar before the sun down. A wish to visit the holy Pushkar Lake and the Ajmer Sharif dargah was also a long standing wish and it came true. Although crowded and utterly unhygenic, it was because of the history of these places which attracts thousands of tourists and pilgrims throughout the year.
