Rajasthan Series EP 9 | Longewala Tanot Mata Mandir and Indo Pak Border

Presenting Rajasthan series episode 9. In this episode, we will cover some iconic places in the likes of Longewala War Memorial, Tanot Mata Mandir and the Indo-Pak border. The road from Jaisalmer all the way to the Indo Pak border is a just a treat to drive on. You come here with any vehicle be it a car or a bike, I am sure you are going to enjoy every bit of the drive/ride on this road. Vast open desert on both the sides and you get this fantastic black top road constructed by BRO to drive/ride on. Tanot mata mandir treated us with lot of crowd and I was surprised to see the queue to get inside, leave aside the unruly crowd, who does not want to respect rules. Furthermore, travelling all the way upto the border fence was an amazing experience. Last but not the least, since the time I saw the movie Border, I made up my mind to pay a visit to Longewala in my own vehicle and yes this time I ticked off one more item in my long standing bucket list. Overall a wonderful day spent on the roads and the highlight of this day being the drive from Jaisalmer and back. Hi Tanmay, I am running late in documentation. I visited here in December and i recommend that to be the right time for visiting. But yes winters would be crowded though. May would be scorching not recommended.
