BKT Tire Challenge | Gully Cricket - Ashwin-Shubham-Rassie vs Riyan-Anunay-Yuzi | Rajasthan Royals

When the Royals are not playing cricket on the big grounds out there, they are playing Gully Cricket in the hotel hallway! We decided to add a dose of nostalgia factor to our activities here at the Royals camp with the BKT Tire Challenge that featured a round of Gully Cricket. Team Harshal, which includes R Ashwin, Shubham Garhwal, and Rassie van der Dussen, faced off against Team Somi that played with Riyan Parag, Anunay Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal on the roster. This RR gully cricket game followed all the gully cricket rules to the T, which means you are in for some good time. I am surprised by the comments saying they should focus on matches instead of this. The cricketers are much more professional than we are. Its like this : even if you have exams approaching, does that mean you study all day long without any breaks ? No , right ? Similarly, they need to cool off between high pressure matches so they do these kinds of activities which are fun and increases team bonding. And these are professional cricketers who play all year around , so its not like putting 20 mins extra is going to make a significant difference in their game because they almost practice daily and are well aware of their game plans. U cant just stay serious all the time , u need to relax in between

The things is one has to go all out from the start to take the advantage of power play or else we will end up like the previous match I guess yashasvi should strike from the first over and jos can take his time. In the previous match no one was batting with the intend to attack that got us under pressure and that the reason jos played that half hearted shot and got out and it's been a problem for our team from the very start that if the opponents get an early wicket our batting order collapse or you can say they simply start throwing their wickets . But in the previous match our batting side did great they didn't collapsed but they lacked intend so 160 was as far as we got. But next match is a must win match.
