Dear Newslaundry, I have a lot of respect for your fiercely independent journalism. I am a strong opponent of the endless communal strife under the Modi government. The court's ex-parte judgement was utterly partisan and wrong, as was the chanting of Jai Shree Ram slogans by the hooligan crowd. But for you to say that the Muslim community's violent reaction to survey was because of hearsay since they are still pained by Babri incident 30 years ago and by Bulldozer baba is equally nonsensical. By this logic, the Hindus can also claim that their memories from 500 years ago are fresh and so, they are very skeptical. There is no justification for the Muslim people resorting to violence, either. You have to be non-partisan to earn respect from all quarters. Call out what is wrong without bias.
