jar private vehicle asel tar direct Pali village la jau shakto base village la tula parking available ahe, jar bus ne jaychay tar bus direct gunjavne village la jate je tula swargate bus depo varun milel - (Mumbai - Pune railway station - Swargate bus depo - Gunjavne village), but the frequency of buses is quite low so check accordingly........ one day trek easily karu shakto, food base village la available ahe, jar tula camping karychi asel tar carry your own tent, and locals kadun food arrange houn jail , if you are travelling from mumbai i will suggest you to start your trek from pali village as it is easy compaired to gunjavne village route, to complete the trek in one day you have to atleast reach the base village by 8-9am in the morning because the last bus for pune is around 5pm ( which i am not so sure). Rajgad is a massive fort and will take around 4 5 hours to explore the enire fort. So plan accordingly

How did you reach pali village ?

We had our private vehicle, if you want to reach pali village you can either rent a scooty or if you want to travel by bus From Swargate bus stand(Pune), you can catch a state transport bus directly for Gunjavane which is the base village of Rajgad Fort Trek. But the frequency of buses is quite low, so check accordingly. Another option is to take a bus going toward Velhe, get down at Margasani, and try to hitchhike till Gunjavane (6.7 kms) or Pali (12.8 kms) Also, from Nasrapur bypass (falls en route to Rajgad), minivans and jeeps ply to and from Gunjavane village. You can reach Nasrapur by any bus plying towards Satara/Kolhapur/Bangalore.
