Listening to Atika is pure bliss.. her command over the language reminds me of Kamal Hassan's and Vairamuthu's command over theirs.. as someone said below, came here for Hirani but stayed for Atika.. her questions are very sensible, she chose to stay away from scandalous questions, asked questions that would bring out the sensibility of the interviewee.. kudos to Hirani for asking her to recite a couple of poems., those were pretty amazing to listen to even though I did not get the whole meaning. Atika, you have a new fan. Please continue doing good work.

@@RS-004 Pehle toh gavar woh Urdu bolte hai joh India se nikle hai. Dusre India ke pas sabse jyada Urdu native speakers hai. Pakistan mein Urdu national langauge zaroor hai par sirf 7.08% hai. Pakistan ek identityless desh hai joh ek Indian langauge ko lay kar uspe apne identity banane ki koshish kar raha hai. Hai aur ek bat woh Hindi bahut ache se jante hai aur likh bhi sakte hai.

I watch a lot of interviews of interesting people. So I came here for Hirani. But, stayed for Atika Farooqui. Oh wow, do I love her poise and her prose. A clear soul like her gets to be completely herself, stays un-intimidated in front of the leading film maker of our times. Where promotional circuit is often dry and boring for a director, I think Hirani leaves the interview having appreciated talking to her. Hirani is the keeda generator for the audience, and here Ms Farooqui truly leaves him with the keeda. 😄 Well done, Ms Farooqui! If Hirani makes a film centered on a female character in the future, we would know it was kick-started by you. 👏👏

What I loved the most about this interview was how the interviewer managed to praise Mr. Hirani and at the same time she beautifully taunted him about not making a film on women who account for half of the population.
