sir..i want solution for intel DH61HO motherboard power dead problem....front pannel on board on/off sw 3.3v is present but no power on...also i check to 24pin power connector of 5v supply green & black wire direct short then power on...but could not present in vrm section 1v/1.5v...so pls help me

Please don't do that. The VRMs are designed to provide a variable voltage output according to the Vcc_VID code generated by CPU as per the load. There are more than 1 phase in VRM to reduce the switching load and ripple in the output. One phase means one or two Hi side MOSFETs, 2 Lo Side MOSFETs, one coil and some capacitors and a driver IC for the Hi and Lo sides. To reduce the load on PSU and to reduce ripples, each of the phases are switched on and off at different times. If you tie two phases to single gate driver output, both will switch at same time. Also the gate driver for the faulty phase is now totally out of the circuit, that means the voltage and current sensing if any done from that chip will be wrong or absent. This will cause erratic power delivery and may damage the CPU.

Also, since the CPU dynamically scales voltage and frequency, there will be voltage droop. The CPU will never get the correct reference voltage at all power stages due to the negative feedback loop that is used to correct voltage droop. This will cause the CPU to not run stable, similar to what happens when you run at high frequency and low voltage in case of overclocking. The diagnosis in this video was good, but the repair was totally unacceptable. It would have made more sense to swap parts from a donor or dead board since these LGA 775 boards are considered scrap by today's standards.

Pretty geeky . Can you help me . Cpu fan, chasis fan, turn on. But no signal to monitor, keyboard and mouse. Tried with a new ram, new SMPS, new CMOS battery. Clear CMOS also done. Took the motherboard out of the chasis. Connected just the processor , ram monitor, keyboard, mouse ( individually also) . But no signal to monitor keyboard and mouse . Ryzen 3 2200 g , on asus prime a320 motherboard. Please help .

I have several dead boards that I would love to find out what is wrong with them but I cannot find a step by step video on how to trouble shoot and follow from the beginning in English motherboard repair. Does anyone know where you can get gigabyte schematics for their motherboards? I can't find any and when I thought I had found a site I got a virus. Thanks for any help.
