Because they are giving him respect by not pitying on him. They are all using the language that they are comfortable in with pride. That's the idea. And even Rajeev is giving everyone respect by talking to each in the language they are comfortable in. That's why he switches to Hindi while posing a question to Diljit.

@@dhaneshshirodkar365 again brother, he kept the interview open to any language, that's why he was almost talking in 'Hinglish'. The interviewees were free to answer in any language they want to. I think it's essential for people to get over the embarrassment they feel talking in their native language. Akshay switched to Hindi after a while when he realized that fact. Kareena was comfortable in English so she kept going like that. It's a personal choice. Rajeev did his part by speaking English and Hindi both to tell everyone that it's okay to do so.
