Every scene in the movie is touching, every word uttered people remember... I came from a place where Hindi is not natively spoken, even then I saw villagers crooning..."yeh paag la hei..." In the picnic season that was song played in every picnic party. Usually those days picnic buses would have loud mic in the top the bus playing some songs... Whenever we heard dil deewana... we knew a picnic bus was coming. We had a new born in our extended family.... the baby goes to sleep whenever the dil deewana song is played in tape recorder. Those were days without digital media... so post cards of filmstar was very much in vogue. Saw lots of Bhagyashree post card pic those days shared among friends and family. Any friends or family visit we talked about the movie, bhagyashree... In the school many of us tried Salman Khan's front wheel lifting in the bicycle and ofcourse very much was talked about dance steps from the dil deewana song where Slaman does a back step..(Kind of Moon walk..) and then jump forward..... 🙂🙂🙂 Happy Memories...!! Now a days those kind of movies have disappeared, those kind of audiences too have disappeared.. 🙂🙂🙂 (Am connected to Bhagyashree over twitter....😉)

Before the film, song did the job to make the film much awaited film and shows would run Houseful. We had a video cassette of MPK which we used to watch religiously on a regular basis after the school hours, we have absolutely no clue the total numbers of times we had watched this movie. It was a same situation even with our classmates and neighbours friends. We still remember how much we adored Bhagyashree & SK, Bhagya was a epitome of beauty, innocence and modesty, every other teenager followed her style (hair, clothing & style). The MPK wardrobe went crazy viral during that era, every other outlets used to have the collections of SK & bhagya's MPK wardrobe.....specially SK's jacket, Bhagyashree's pink frock & salwar suit ( kaboother ja song fame ) , teenagers went gaga over this movie which proved that even without any vulgarity/ exposed wardrobe still can be blockbuster. Later on we ( her crazy fans ) were disappointed on her ridiculous decision of quitting acting by releasing a lehren magazine video to her fans , how disheartened it was to her fans to accept this as they were desperately waiting to watch her back on the screen opposite SK. She also surprisingly disappointed her fans with her stupid decisions/ conditions which she kept before her producers that she would do movies with one condition only if her husband is given opportunity to cast opposite her. Her fans went furious of her stupid decisions, looking at her craze fan following, producers and directors did risked themselves in investing on her movies casting her husband opposite her which turned out to be a disastrous in BO., after back to back flops she turned out to be a joke among the circle of producers, which forced her fans to blame her husband Himalay for bhagya's stupid decisions. Nonetheless, I really would like to know what exactly Rajashri team had planned for SK & Bhagya after the successful of MPK. The best chemistry I ever seen in Hindi cinema is of Bhagya & SK after Sunil Dutt & Nutan ( Sujata) AK & Juie (QSQT) . Later on we heard after bhagya's refusal Ravina, Ayesha Julka, Divya & Juie were benefited with movie offers.
