For all those who r asking for the lyrics of the stanzas sung kamla ji.actually, the lines sung by kamla ji are taken from kumaoni jagar and revealing the lyrics of jagar is not a good thing i think so.Secondly, some people r here who call themselves pahadi but don't know even about rajula and malushahi and ven about this song too,,this is for them. first of all,learn about your culture.I am in class 9 but I know everything related to the culture of kumaon even with proper kummaoni. secondly,the meaning of the stanzas sung by kamla ji is as follows- INTRODUCTION-rajula was a common girl from jauhar and malushahi was the son of the katyuri king dulashahi. in the first stanza kamla ji sings that rajula and malu r sleeping in their home at night.there homes are very far from each other but they r togeether watching a same dream in which they r together.[this was the first time rajula and malushahi met each other,that too through dreams]. in the second stanza it is mentioned that after some circumstances,rajula came to bairat[present day chaukhutiya] to malushahi's palace from jauhar by walking in night. she saw that her malu is sleeping.He was sleping because of the magic of a herbwhich his mother gave hime which made him fall asleep.Malushahi was sleeping, so rajula kept a letter on his table and made him wear her ring in his finger.next day when malushahi got to know about all this,he felt very guilty and went to meet rajula. in the third and fourth stanza, it is mentioned that at bagnath temple in bageshwar there is saryu ganga in the middle.Rajula crosses the river from one side and malushahi crosses the river from another side and finally they meet and then they pray lord bagnath[mahadev] for the well being of their relationship and due to the blessings of bagnath ji,they later got married and started living together.
