I love this performance of Abbas where he displays arrogance throughout the movie and maintains that attitude perfectly up to the climax even when he is losing the girl and getting his heart broken. Such a wonderful nuanced performance.

This movie was released just a week after I got married and I remember being hooked onto its songs. I had a minnale audio cassette that I used to play repeatedly in my walkman. I still like the songs of this film. Strangely, I didn't watch this film that year but watched its Hindi remake first the following year when the Hindi version was released.
