Significance - showing not neglected, Invite Guatemala to join ISA, Sending a message of political will. (since no high level visit in last decades ) World is heading towards protectionism. India growing profile , being globalizer , world is becoming more interdependent (terrorism, trade,) Many of these countries are member of NAM, mineral export. Geography should not be constrain, India should focus on energy and food. China has already a very ambitious target in these countries. We should not over focus on larger countries only. Importance - Panama - in terms of diaspora, logistic. Guatemala - most populous county in Latin America Peru - exporter of minerals and other commodities. Expectation - More robust role India can play in global economy, focus on trade and investment, liberal rule base global economic order, India will be hopping on food and energy security concern, multilateral engagement,. This visit will being in terms of public awareness, thereby promoting tourism. The follow up actions are very important, delivering the promise in timeline fashion, people to people contact. Its great initiative in expanding our broader relationship.

First of all a huge thank you to our policy makers who are helping in underlining the vital roles countries in central america are going to play in near by future and we must acknowledge the role Shri Venkaiah Naidu ji is playing right from renouncing the so called British era terms used in rajya sabha, to inculcating moral values in students,to his heartfelt urge to fellow parliamentarians during the deadlock or to exercise his rights in rejecting the appeal to impeach the CJI and now his visit to these nations, first by any leader from either side, his days in office have been full of vigor since he became v-p.Truly speaking he has changed what is been known to be a v-p in India so far.

In every foreign policy, initiative, steps etc is it become necessary to discuss China everytime with such an importance? It becomes irking now when policy makers compares India with china. Its economy is so vast than us playing with whole world with its cheap utility goods. We have to look for new out of box initiative which should be very very long term instead of following china's path. ITS GOOD THAT INDIA IS NOW FOCUSING ON MANY SMALLER AREAS BUT ARE WE HAVE ENOUGH CAPABILITIES TO TAKE COMMITMENTS ON OUR SHOULDERS. In most of the countries India can't deliver commitments in time.
