Irfan Sahab, bahut khoob. I admire Khayyam. He is the last custodians of good music in Indian film industry. I love his simplicity but I revere his dedication. Also, feel proud of achievements made by a fellow Punjabi :). Having said that you yourself are a good interviewer. Very few people have that quality. Asking point blank questions and then ranting at length seems to be the norm, but you get the gist of it. Great Job, Great interview. Loved it. !!!

Comment from London... Khayyam is indeed a v versatile composer; love his compositions in films & non film Ghazals. Just a mention that the Rafi song "sham-e-ghum is kasam" is very richly inspired from Naushad's Dulari song by Rafi " Suhani raat Dahl chuki".
