I'm glad you guys had a good experience with this so called company. Sadly I can't say the same. They took my money shipped half of my order. No response what so ever from them. So if you are thinking about ordering from them beware, I would elsewhere.

I bought the tent back in late 2018 when they were still TNH. Fantastic tent! Like you the only issue I had with it was the weight but I’m not an ultralight hiker so it doesn’t matter that much for me.

I have the TNH version from a year ago and it is one of the most durable tents Ive seen. Takes snow, wind and rain like a champ. Agreed its a 1.5 person.

I was very happy with the quality of the tent, especially for the price! Cant wait for some good weather to sleep without the fly... the open top would be great to watch the stars

Rev, check out River Country Products. I bought a one-man tent from them for $40. It weighs around 2.5 pounds and is ROOMY. I took it to Mammoth Cave into the back country. It poured rain for 6 hours, but I stayed dry. Great tents for cheap. Their two-man tents are around 3 pounds, 40 - 60 bucks.

I think for a tent that will fit in a pack at 4lbs is pretty lightweight. My pack weighs more empty than the tent does bagged up

4 pounds for a 4 season tent is decent and for $99 is a great deal

Dont know if I would call it a full 4 season... doubt it would take a huge snow load, but a light 4 season for sure.
