You can't sell when the EPS peaks. You never know what's going to happen. The P/E ratio on the other hand is a much better indicator. Godrej properties has a current P/e ratio of 81. That is ridiculous. The share price has doubled without its earnings showing the slightest increase over the last 5 years. And most people still want to hold because they think the price is going to skyrocket even further. At a PE of 81, your company needs to earn seven times for you to just break-even. It's a no brainier to sell such a company at such a ridiculous price
