At 9:54 does the low battery warning apply to the radios power and the external module(im running a express lrs module) or just the radio. If its just the radio how do you change the voltage alarm for the external module(if there is a serting)(im running a 2s for my module so this is helpful) thanks

It's only for the radio not the external module. But if your external module is powered from the radio battery then the voltage alarm will benefit both.

Another great video !👍 Could you please tell me if express lrs receiver will work with apm2.8 flight controller ? I have no idea about compatibility or how lrs receiver works. Does it has its own telemetry or it transmit flight controller's telemetry? 3rd question is regarding the camera transmission, if a separate setup is needed for fpv , even after all these technologies advances , especially for long range flights ? Is there any way to transmit video signals riding these radio signals? Please guide me bro . 🙏 Thanks

Express lrs will work on apm but from 4.1 firmware onwards. Elrs receiver has some if it's own telemetry like rssi, refresh rate and voltage but it can also send flight controller telemetry. For fpc setup you could use it stand alone without connecting to flight controller but you'll miss some data on your video feed. Fpv video feed doesn't have any problem from other radio signals if vtx and antenna are placed correctly.

Now for fpv setup , does its receiver support analog video out put , as feed from apm telemetry can be overlayed on fpv signals through minim osd. In this scenario , apm doesn't need any feedback , minim osd just use that telemetry data to overlay it on video feed. So my question is does express lrs support analog video output , if not then how can I use telemetry data from apm to get it overlayed any digital video feed. Sorry for my ignorance 😛

Hello Rakish RC, I am very enthusiastic about the OpenTX software for the I6X. I have a question about the OpenTX software 1.4.0 for the Flysky FSI6X, Is it possible to switch the software to German? if so, where and how?. I want to use the I6X for truck model making, so I don't need any aircraft settings and designations (i.e. a neutral surface) is there a way to remove all the aviator settings (mixers) and designations or the (Mixer) settings and designations To be released so that you can change the settings and designations yourself? I would like to do the same with the Taranis X9E, can you help me or give me tips on what and where I need to change something? I installed an external transmitter module (Jeti Tu2) in the X9E, works quite well so far, Is it possible to use the telemetry signal from the transmitter module in the Taranis and in the I6X, I would also like to install the Jeti TU2 transmitter module in the I6X. Hi, Germany language has been added in a nightly build will be available with official version very soon. You can set up mixes in anyway you'd like with open tx in I6X Jeti TU2 module can be used via external ppm module with I6X Open tx.

hi the original firmware the switch setting has a larger range than 120% the servo motors have a larger stroke here can the same effect be achieved

I think it's possible by editing the channel mixer setting by changing the max range to 120...the default is 100. Will check on my radio and reply soon

Did you calibrate gimbals and pots from the calibration menu correctly?

@@MsDanish1212 I am not sure why that would happen. Did you ever reconnect the gimbal pin connector on motherboard? I'd suggest flash original flysky firmware again and see if gimbals are working correctly. That's a way to know if it's hardware or software issue

Simulator option is a hit and miss mostly due to computer driver error. I have no problem with simulator with open tx on any of my computer and laptop. You'll have to test it on your pc

Hi, you mean the throttle warning at power on if it's not zero? I am not sure what you mean by force. But with open tx you can pretty much configure the radio however you want just need to know how to implement the steps required for it

Hi. I have a few questions. I fly planes only. What is your experience, are there any drawbacks compared to the original fw? My main concern would be freezes mid-flight. How reliable is it? Will it still work in Phoenix RC? Can you still set low battery warnings sent by the receiver trough telemetry? (FS-iA6B) When I delete the original fw, there is the possibility to save it. Can I also save the EEPROM contents aswell? All my programmed data, setting? For the case I would like to restore? Thanks.

Hi, I've been using this radio with open tx from a long time now. I haven't had any issue during flight or operating my rc cars. I use elrs for my quads and it outperforms the stock afhds2a protocol. You get all the regular telemetry options plus more if using flight controller. No drawbacks at all only benefits and more features. You can always flash back to original firmware and you can back up too but the original files are available on web. Eeprom cannot be saved..you'll have to setup manually.

You'll need multi protocol module to use other protocols. With open tx you can use elrs and flysky protocol along with ppm for external module. Sbus for multi protocol will also be available in future

Hi, I've been using with 2s lipo without any problem just make sure to never power with 2s and 4AA batteries together accidentally else radio will burn. You'd need sbus to pwm converter to use servos with sbus16 or use sbus compatible servos directly. Frsky sd1 sbus converter could be used or any other similar converter.

@@f.chrisrafer5303 the device drivers need to be updated. Go to device manager and find the radio under HID compliant devices. Update the drivers using USB input device. it'll give error in first attempt but update the driver again using USB input device and reconnect the radio. It should show up properly and also visible in usb game controller

900mhz elrs is a good option. It's new and has frequent updates and improvements and works well for long range with minimal latency. 433mhz you'll only be able to use pwm or ppm. Also 900mhz elrs will be cheaper than a 433mhz uhf unit
