1978 में हमारे UP BOARD के 10th के exams के बाद यह फिल्म रिलीज हुई थी। पहले दिन टिकट नहीं मिलने पर हम तीन दोस्तों ने देखी "दुल्हन वही जो पिया मन भाए", अगले दिन भी टिकट नहीं मिलने पर हमनें देखी "कस्में वादे" तीसरे दिन भी हमें टिकट नहीं मिला और हमने कोई दूसरी फिल्म देखी। सात या आठ फिल्में देखने के बाद हम यह फिल्म देख पाऐ थे THOSE WERE THE DAYS 😞😞😞

फिल्म अच्छी थी, उस पर आपका नैरेशन भी बहुत अच्छा रहा। सलीम जावेद उस समय की कामयाब लेखक जोड़ी थी। न सिर्फ कामयाब बल्कि होशियार भी। एक कसी हुई पटकथा ने फिल्म को बड़ी सफलता दिलवाई। दो पुरानी फिल्मों के कथानक से फिल्म को मूल आधार दिया गया। 1968 की फिल्म इज्जत की मूल कहानी नाजायज़ बाप से ख़फ़ा नाजायज़ बेटे की क्रिया प्रतिक्रिया, इसका जिक्र आपने किया ही है। और बिजनेस की दुनिया में अपनी साख बनाकर बिजनेस के तौर-तरीकों से ही बदला लेने की थीम उन्होंने ली धरमजी की एक और सफ़ल फिल्म "जीवन मृत्यु" से।...... हालांकि यह सही है सिर्फ प्रभावित होना या किसी कहानी को दोहराना ही काफी नहीं है, बल्कि उसका पूरा कलेवर भी नएपन से भरना पड़ता है और यह काम सलीम जावेद साहब की जोड़ी ने बहुत ही सुन्दर ढंग से कर दिया। यश चोपड़ा का निर्देशन तो सोने में सुहागे जैसा था ।

Excellent presentation with many unknown facts to us, Rakesh ji. The acting/expression of Sanjeev and Amitabh was great and equally good. But I think Amitabh's acting was more impactful due to his better dialogue delivery, superb command over language and baritone voice. Because of these assets with his great talent of acting, he scored over so many of his costars in other multi starrer movies.

हमेशा की तरह लाजवाब episode....राकेश जी ! 👌👌👌👌 सलीम-जावेद को थोड़ी सी सफलता मिलते ही ये घमंड कैसे हो गया कि वो किसी का कैरियर बर्बाद कर सकते हैं ?? सचिन का role करने को कौन सा popular एक्टर राजी हो जाता? फ़िल्म बेशक all time classic है ! जिस scene में शशि कपूर पूनम ढिल्लों को ले के घर छोड़ कर जा रहे होते हैं और उस वक़्त संजीव कुमार के साथ उनकी जो conversation थी, वो scene बेहद impactful था ! खय्याम का संगीत बेजोड़ था ! लेकिन 'जानेमन तुम कमाल करती हो....' song पता नहीं क्यों बीच से फिल्माया गया है, शुरू के एक-दो खूबसूरत शेर फिल्माए ही नहीं गए !

As always very well analysed Rakesh ji. Both Amitabh and Sanjeev Kumar had peaked in their acting calibre, Shashi ji gave the able support. Technically it wouldn't make sense to cast sanjeev kumar for father's role to actors like shashi kapoor (who was actually 4 months older than him in real life) and amitabh bachchan (who was only 4 years younger than him in real life) but after the film release, he really surprised the audience with his versatility and managed to convince the audience in this role. He was like a chamaleon. No wonder, many might have not noticed but all these 3 actors ( sanjeev, shashi and amitabh) collaborated just a year before trishul in the film Imaan Dharam where they all three played same age heroes.

Love this movie, I was 5 when this movie was made, my dad was a big Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjeev Kumar fan, he had a huge collection of bitamax tapes, VHS tapes, of almost all of big B movies and many others, so u was raised on all these movies, since we were abroad in UAE, Hindi movies were very famous and were broadcasted on TV, unlike I'm Indian where most people didn't have TV. We had a lot of exposure.

Trishul is my all time best favourite movies … I’ve watched the movie several times .. but now when I try watching it I can’t find the movie anywhere - Netflix, Prime or even on KZbin - there’s nowhere the film can be found… Rakesh jee if you can help me watch the movie once again it’ll be a great help.. another thing I want to tell you is there was another film by name Vijay which was again made by Yash Chopra sahab only and there’re many shades of the story which were inspired by the storyline of the movie Trishul - I feel so… I immensely liked both the movies.. thanks for this presentation.. your way of presenting the facts of the movie is good..

I think trishul is there on you tube but in so many small videos..yes Vijay was reflection of trishul but it was badly made.
