I listen to music alot. And thats alot alot. I had almost 2000 hours of streaming time last year on spotify. Almost 17 000 different songs. And thats just spotify, I listen to CDs in my car sometimes, listen on youtube and listen on vinyl. But anyways, when I found Raketkanon, I was really blown away. Not right away though, I heard this song and thought it was cool, then I went back and started exploring them, they ended up being my most streamed artist 2019. They really are something else, something fresh something totally unique! Haven't heard anyone blend synth, heavy guitars, amazing drum beats and maniac vocals in such an amazing way, and to really speak emotion in some songs, like Mathilde and Lena, when I don't even understand a single word he's saying. I am just amazed, at all of it, the energy, the ups and downs, the complexity and the fucking sound production, amazing studio work, the drums sound so perfectly placed and natural.

Coming back to this 4 years later to note that, trying to make sense of the lyrics comes very close to what the ego dissolution experience of a k-hole feels like. I just had one and it felt like a fullon psychotic breakthrough. As close to a divine feeling of godlike bliss I've ever had the chance to experience. Very powerful, which makes me wonder if a similar experience was the inspiration for this song? Or is this a secret that only those in the know appreciate? 🤫
