This is a great video! love the slow mow action! And of course the cool gear the modern solders are wearing.

I loved serving in 3rd Brigade combat team 101ABN . But they need to bring back the parachute element to the division along side the choppers. Like the way it was in the Vietnam era. This unit could step up its bravado and be a one stop shop for all airborne operations and truly kick some ass.

Get some boys. I served in the 101 from 08-11 and saw action in Afghanistan with them. That patch is contagious, we already have 2 little brothers of platoon mates who joined the 101. I still wear that patch with pride, just on a hat now and in my heart… RIP SPC ROMIG AND SGT HASENFLU

Polk to take on their permanent party; we enter the box at 02:30 ,right door entry, right door exit, seats out. Chalk leaders!;.......⛩️

The Army needed to upgrade to new tactics and a changing battlefield, chose the 101st to be that unit. The 82nd was the original airborne unit and most experienced so it made sense to let them keep their airborne operations

Take a look who’s fought the biggest battles in every war and has kept the title of most aggressive Army unit, not to mention the longest air assault in history in the gulf war, and a long one in Iraq in 2003. And a few air assaults in Vietnam lol. 82nd has done one jump since WW2. Love the 82nd tho we relieved them in Afghanistan and that unit was squared away, just some friendly ball breaking. Army units will always do the majority of fighting in every war
