Is it really a Happy Raksha Bandhan?
Through this film I really wanted to tell a deep personal story, a story which really haunts me. This film takes inspirations from the recent unfortunate activities.
Reflecting on a deeply personal and emotional film that challenges the traditional, happy perception of Raksha Bandhan. The juxtaposition of the festival's warmth and the unfortunate events now allude to creates a strong narrative contrast. Sharing a story that haunts you, particularly through such a culturally significant lens, adds a profound layer of meaning.
The fact that this film pushed the boundaries-both creatively and emotionally-shows that we're committed to exploring new forms of storytelling, even at the risk of discomfort or vulnerability.
This film was a huge learning and risk for me as never had I done anything of this type!
